GEVME was chosen as the official event technology partner for the historic DPRK–USA Summit in Singapore (June 12, 2018), tasked with building secure online and onsite registration and check-in for a high-profile, logistically complex event. The team faced a tight timeline, stringent security and data-privacy requirements, a large venue with connectivity challenges, and coordination across many government, security, media and infrastructure stakeholders.

GEVME deployed five integrated solutions (online registration, onsite check-in, photo capture, onsite security checks and badge printing), backed by rigorous vulnerability, penetration, user-acceptance and performance testing. Security measures included hardened systems, a thin-client/cloud data approach, encrypted QR codes and holograms on badges, strict access controls and an on-prem backup server; volunteers and staff received focused training and automated communications. The platform processed thousands of attendees successfully within weeks, delivering a secure, seamless registration experience and validating GEVME’s readiness for global, high-security events.
