Danone's First Ever Virtual Danone Day 2020 A Global Virtual Internal Event

Danone, a global leader in food and nutrition, transitioned its annual Danone Day—normally a large in-person internal summit—into a fully virtual format for the first time in 2020. The challenge was to replicate the engagement and sense of community of the physical event while enabling global meetings, focused breakout discussions, and celebration of the company’s “Manifesto in Action” despite travel restrictions.

GEVME delivered the solution with its Virtual platform plus Digital Event Managers and project management, providing interactive features (attendee presence, speaker bios, downloadable collateral, chat, live Q&A) and seven dedicated breakout rooms with live tech support. The three-hour event brought 150+ participants together, preserved camaraderie, unified the digital and physical broadcast experience, and earned positive attendee feedback.
