Case Study: AGS Airports achieves seamless IT separation and improved service with Getronics

A Getronics Case Study

Preview of the AGS Airports Case Study

Getronics Provides it Support Services to Ags Airports as they Separate from Heathrow

AGS Airports, the operator of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports, faced the challenge of separating from Heathrow Holdings and building a new, unified IT infrastructure across all three sites with minimal disruption to airport operations. It needed a partner with airport and M&A transition experience, and Getronics was selected to provide the IT support services and act as an extension of the AGS team.

Getronics implemented a five-year, two-phase separation program covering service desk, telephony, on-site engineering, and later WAN/LAN networking, plus a project office for future IT initiatives. Getronics moved AGS onto a robust support model on time and on budget, kept services stable, and helped improve end-user satisfaction, while also making AGS more responsive to customers.
