Case Study: MWH Global achieves a lower carbon footprint with Getronics data centre services

A Getronics Case Study

Preview of the MWH Global Case Study

Getronics’ National Data Centre Supports the Global Leader in Wet Infrastructure in Lowering its Carbon Footprint

MWH Global, the employee-owned engineering and construction firm with 7,000 employees worldwide, needed a new EMEA data centre that would improve cost efficiency, strengthen data security, and reduce its carbon footprint. The company selected Getronics and its Tier 3 National Data Centre services after a rigorous review process.

Getronics implemented the move to its secure National Data Centre in Runcorn, UK, providing 6 racks, new circuits, and a smooth migration that was delivered on time, to scope, and within budget. The solution used cold aisle containment, metered power usage, and a CHP-powered facility with about 35% lower carbon emissions than traditional wholesale suppliers, helping MWH reduce operating costs and achieve its carbon-footprint and security goals.
