Getronics Iberia helps Mar Health Park Consortium (Psmar) Provide Improved Patient Care and Experience

PSMar, a major health park consortium in Barcelona, faced the challenge of integrating communications and IT processes across over ten different buildings and specialist centers. Their goals were to improve service quality, enhance security for staff and patients, and reduce IT maintenance costs. Getronics was engaged to address these needs with a Unified Communications solution.

Getronics designed and implemented a comprehensive Unified Communications network based on the NEC SIP@Net server, tailored for over 2,000 users. The solution included mobility features, contact centers, and integrated systems for critical medical alerts. The results for PSMar included reduced operating and maintenance costs, a significantly improved experience for patients and visitors, and increased security for critical procedures. Getronics continues to work with the health park on innovative pilots for patient geolocation.
