Bid Shopping, one of the UK’s best-loved multichannel retailers, needed a scalable, more cost-effective IT service model to support its near 24/7 live TV channels and websites. It also required a secure, highly available data centre and reliable support for its critical retail and broadcasting operations. Getronics was brought in to provide that foundation, including hosting and infrastructure support.
Getronics implemented end-to-end infrastructure services through its UK national Data Centre, covering Exchange email and data storage, a 24x7 service desk, server and LAN management, onsite desktop support, and service management.
