Getronics Delivers Web Portals Penetration Tests to Take Kpn’s Infrastructure Security to the Next Level

KPN, the Dutch telecommunications and IT services provider, faced a serious security challenge after a hacker gained access to its servers, triggering negative publicity and a need to strengthen privacy and security practices. KPN asked Getronics to help secure its high-risk, internet-facing websites and to identify weaknesses as part of a broader security initiative, using web portal penetration testing services.

Getronics performed more than 200 penetration tests, combining manual analysis, vulnerability verification, and support for fixing issues with KPN and third parties. The work helped KPN quickly implement new security strategies, reduce exposure to infrastructure vulnerabilities, lower its attack surface, and create a more secure environment prepared for future threats.
