Getronics Belux Realizes Carve-Out and New Data Centre Set Up for Esterline

Esterline, a high-end manufacturing company, required a carve-out of Barco’s Defense and Aerospace division and the setup of a new, scalable data center. The challenges, tackled with Getronics, included a strict deadline to avoid costly delays and a new infrastructure that had to be built in a location with severely limited space and significant cooling constraints.

Getronics delivered a complete ICT infrastructure solution. They implemented an innovative data center with five server cabinets in an end-of-row topology using InRow cooling units and a redundant power supply, ensuring temperature control, security, and recoverability. The results include a secure, state-of-the-art facility that is fully scalable for future European and worldwide expansion, with data transfer speeds up to 100 gigabits per second.
