Beheersmaatschappij Antwerpen Mobiel (BAM) needed to consolidate its IT environment with a single provider that could manage its full office setup, support a move to Office 365, and migrate infrastructure to a converged platform while keeping mission-critical services secure and available. With limited internal IT staff and a high-profile public project, BAM turned to Getronics for a reliable infrastructure and managed services partner.

Getronics implemented a shared Cisco-powered Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment, combined with service desk, network, security, and cloud services, and migrated BAM’s data center to a VCE vBlock in Brussels with the Antwerp site retained as backup. Getronics also rebuilt the secure web environment and provided 24/7 monitoring, giving BAM one point of contact, fixed monthly pricing, improved efficiency, and lower costs while supporting secure, scalable operations.
