SELSEY, one of Poland’s largest furniture and home-decor retailers, needed to recover abandoned carts and build long-term customer loyalty for purchases that can take up to six weeks to decide. Their goals were to encourage users to finish purchases and maintain relationships through targeted email automation and integrations.
They implemented an abandoned-cart automation (15-minute reminder, 24-hour follow-up with a discount, then an educational cycle offering samples, advisor help and showroom visits) and ran A/B tests with the Splitter filter. Adding customer reviews proved decisive: an email with reviews plus a discount lifted click-to-open to 20.82% and conversion rate to 9.09% (vs 3.8% baseline), roughly doubling conversions and delivering conversion growth reported at 202% (reviews) and 239% (reviews + discount).
