A GES Case Study
The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), a long-time client of GES, faced a significant operational challenge when it moved its large annual convention from a traditional convention center to a hotel venue in Las Vegas. This shift to a new venue type with inherent space limitations and logistical constraints required a complete rethinking of how to execute their complex exhibitor and sponsor setup without sacrificing the impact of their signature experiences.
GES implemented a solution by retiring the legacy GEM structures in favor of the contemporary AMP system. This allowed them to redesign major features like the HUB Stage and relocate breakout theaters to fit the new footprint. The transition by GES resulted in a remarkably faster move-in; structures that typically took days to build were nearly complete on the first day. This operational efficiency led to immense client satisfaction, with MBA awarding GES a perfect 10/10 survey score.
