A GEP Case Study
A U.S.-headquartered global financial services firm with more than 5,000 employees across 19 countries and over $2 billion in annual revenue sought to modernize a highly manual procurement function. The company had limited spend visibility (about $250M across 1,500 suppliers), weak supplier and contract management, and needed end-to-end process automation, better reporting, and more of its spend under management.
The firm deployed GEP SMART across business units in six months, integrating the cloud-native platform with existing ERPs, enabling P2P, spend analysis, supplier and contract management, live supplier catalogs, and rule-based workflow automation with monthly data refreshes. As a result, the platform now manages roughly $5 billion in spend with 99% spend visibility and 95% spend-classification accuracy, a unified supplier database (thousands of suppliers onboarded), ~6,000 contracts, and reporting that supports data-driven decision-making.
