ADEME, the French agency for environment and energy control, needed a reliable way to produce daily national ozone maps and communicate air quality information more effectively. Geovariances provided Isatis, using its batch and automation capabilities to streamline map production and support ADEME’s air pollutant monitoring workflows.

With Geovariances’ solution, ADEME built an entirely automatic process for daily ozone mapping that covered data retrieval by FTP, filtering, kriging estimation, map formatting, and delivery for publication on the ATMONET website. The system enabled faster integration of new measurements, automatic updates, and daily production of ozone concentration maps and a confidence index, improving both efficiency and timeliness.
