A GeothinQ Case Study
The Daniel Island Development Company needed a better way to manage real-time lot inventory and land development data for its large, highly visible master-planned community in Charleston, South Carolina. Using ArcGIS and manual processes, the team spent too much time updating property information, coordinating with civil engineers, and tracking lot availability across multiple systems. geothinQ helped provide a more efficient, on-demand geographic data platform for property analysis and mapping.
With geothinQ, The Daniel Island Development Company was able to access and share real-time property data, track construction status and contracts, and create up-to-date maps for builders and prospects. The solution reduced research that once took hours to minutes, improved collaboration across teams, and supported smarter decisions on phase boundaries, inventory management, and future development planning. The Daniel Island Company later extended geothinQ to another project, Carnes Crossroads, to support planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
