Wellington County, Ontario, serves 90,000 residents across 1,000 square miles with a 60-vehicle public works fleet (including 28 tandem-axle snowplows). Its legacy GPS system lacked real-time monitoring, unified fleet management and guaranteed Canadian data residency, leaving the county unable to track driver behavior, vehicle health and service status effectively.

The county installed Geotab GO on all vehicles, integrated MyGeotab reporting and SmartWitness forward-facing cameras, and used online training for staff.
