A Geotab Case Study
The Bradfords Group, a family-founded U.K. building supplies business with over 40 branches and a 700-vehicle fleet, needed a more comprehensive, user-friendly telematics system to track vehicle locations, improve driver behaviour and raise safety standards. Their previous solution lacked key metrics and usability, making it hard to monitor deliveries and manage non-compliant driving.
Working with a Geotab reseller, Bradfords deployed Geotab across its commercial fleet and created a customised “Magnificent Seven” scorecard to monitor seven key behaviours with weekly reports for coaching. The system cut fuel costs by 2–4%, reduced speeding and improved driver behaviour, helped overturn a false damage claim using trip data, earned insurer confidence, and is expected to deliver further savings in brake wear and idling.
