A Geotab Case Study
C&C Group is a family-owned construction services company based in Lenexa, KS, operating a 75-vehicle fleet of pickups and vans. The company had limited visibility into driver behavior and vehicle use — and after a close call involving the owner’s daughter, leadership made safety a top priority and began exploring telematics to monitor seat-belt use and other risks.
C&C Group deployed Geotab telematics across the fleet, enabling seat-belt and speeding monitoring, location-based verification to refute false claims, fuel and idling tracking, and maintenance scheduling. Results included a 46% reduction in idling (about $350/month saved), improved fuel and MPG monitoring, better preventive maintenance reminders, and an estimated 23,415 lbs. of CO2 avoided — all with ongoing support from their telematics partner.
