Sammons Retirement Solutions, a West Des Moines-based provider of annuities and IRAs, works through a national network of independent financial advisers and needed a way to reduce travel time, plan territories, and better target prospects and event attendees while keeping everything in Salesforce. Field reps were losing time to inefficient driving and missed nearby advisor visits, and managers needed tools to create more efficient territories and improve attendance at Lunch-and-Learn events.
After finding Geopointe on the Salesforce AppExchange, Sammons implemented its integrated mapping and mobile tools across field and office teams. Reps now build optimized routes and add appointments via radial searches, managers plan territories and reps customize segments and loops, and Marketing uses location-based targeting for events—resulting in improved efficiency, higher event attendance, and better conversion.
