A Geopointe Case Study
The College of Charleston, a public higher education institution in Charleston, South Carolina, needed a better way to target prospective students to diversify its student body geographically, demographically, and economically. The Office of Admissions faced inefficient, often guesswork-driven recruiting trips and limited scholarship resources that made identifying and prioritizing out-of-state prospects difficult.
After a successful trial, the College implemented Geopointe for its intuitive mapping tools, overlays, filters, and responsive support. Admissions now plans targeted events that drive higher attendance and more qualified leads, maps parents and alumni to support regional fairs, and pinpoints visitor hometowns to tailor the on‑campus experience.
