City Council of Donostia / San Sebastián updates 65 hectares of municipal mapping annually with Geograma

The City Council of Donostia / San Sebastián faced the challenge of keeping its municipal mapping continuously updated to support urban planning and public services in a rapidly evolving environment. To address this, they partnered with Geograma for a solution leveraging mobile mapping technology and advanced surveying to annually update 65 hectares of mapping and survey 140 km of streets.

Geograma implemented a comprehensive workflow combining continuous reality capture, point cloud processing, and cartographic updating. The results provided the city with an accurate, living cartographic database, immediate access to 360° imagery for remote analysis, and significantly increased operational efficiency by reducing fieldwork and improving data-driven decision-making.
