The customer CAF Signalling faced the challenge of creating an intuitive, user-friendly tool for technicians to easily consult geographic information, such as the location of trains and alarms, within their signaling systems. To address this, they partnered with vendor Geograma, leveraging its expertise in GIS for the visualization and management of geographic data.

The solution implemented by Geograma was the development and integration of a Geographic Information Window (VIG). This consisted of a web application with a map, legend, and search tool for viewing georeferenced data, along with an API to interface with existing synoptic systems to display dynamic information. The result was a highly effective tool that streamlined incident management and was praised by CAF Signalling as being key to the project's success.
