Bilbao delivers a new tourist map in 4 formats with Geograma

Bilbao Ekintza, the tourism agency for the city of Bilbao, faced the challenge of modernizing its outdated tourist map to improve the visitor experience. The existing map lacked clarity and inclusivity, and the city needed a new, more functional design that could better synthesize information and represent tourist resources across the entire city. Geograma was enlisted to provide a solution combining cartography, design, and geographic information services.

Geograma created a new, clearer map by updating the urban cartographic base with official data and developing a modern visual language with custom illustrations. The solution included multiple printed formats and incorporated QR codes to bridge the physical and digital experience. The result was a highly visual and useful map delivered in several languages and formats, which strengthened Bilbao's tourism positioning by providing visitors with a more accurate and accessible tool.
