Abuzz maps Granada Mall with Geograma using 450 POIs and 100 empty areas

Abuzz, a provider of indoor wayfinding solutions, faced the challenge of transforming complex mall plans into a simplified, structured digital map for its navigation technology. The goal was to create a lightweight geometric model of Granada Mall in Riyadh that could effectively support route calculation and integrate into their digital ecosystem. Geograma was engaged to prepare this detailed indoor mapping base.

Geograma developed the digital model using SketchUp, following a methodology defined with Abuzz. The solution involved creating a coherent spatial structure that included approximately 450 POIs, restroom zones, empty areas, and parking. The result was a structured, lightweight model ready for integration. This allowed Abuzz's system to clearly represent the mall, help users locate stores, and calculate routes to improve the visitor experience. Geograma also provided a repeatable methodology for future retail wayfinding projects.
