Sqrups!, a Spanish retail chain founded by Iñaki Espinosa, operated more than 50 stores and was growing at about 10% per month when it faced three key challenges: processing a high volume of franchisee requests with a recruitment process that inspires confidence, finding optimal store locations quickly (each site study previously required 5–10 options and 2–5 days), and optimising its existing network with targeted online/offline marketing. To tackle these issues the company evaluated location-intelligence vendors and selected Geoblink, deploying Geoblink’s Retail solution.
Geoblink provided high-granularity data, retail-focused functionalities and an intuitive visualization layer that business users could adopt immediately. As a result Sqrups! improved franchisee recruitment and site qualification, maximised per-store profits by identifying higher-demand areas, sped up time-to-market and execution of planned openings, and enabled geolocated marketing and better market segmentation — ultimately scaling from 50 to 100 stores in 12 months and accelerating return on investment.
