MRB Fund Partners launches USD 100 blue-chip art AMC with GenTwo

MRB Fund Partners, a FINMA-regulated asset manager, sought to diversify its clients' portfolios with a unique investment in fine art photography, an asset class known for steady returns. The challenge was structuring this illiquid asset into a secure and easily accessible financial product for their investors. They partnered with vendor GenTwo to achieve this.

GenTwo designed a securitization solution using an Actively Managed Certificate (AMC) issued by a Protected Cell Company. This structure made the blue-chip photography portfolio bankable, with shares available for as little as USD 100, and fully ring-fenced the assets from issuer risk. GenTwo's legal and technical expertise ensured airtight ownership and custody of the physical artworks, transforming them into a secure financial product.
