A Gensler Case Study
The United States Soccer Federation sought to create a unified national training center to support all 27 of its teams and honor the sport’s legacy. The challenge was to design a high-performance campus that balanced elite athletic demands with long-term resilience. Gensler was selected to provide architectural and interior design services for this project.
Gensler’s solution established a purpose-built, 200-acre campus with over a dozen outdoor fields and 300,000 square feet of indoor training and performance space. The design brought together training, recovery, and research facilities, including an on-site sport research lab. The resulting National Training Center sets a new benchmark for soccer in the United States, strengthening collaboration across all national teams and positioning the entire U.S. Soccer pipeline for sustained global success.
