Case Study: Sanofi Creates an Employee-Centered Workplace in Morristown with Gensler

A Gensler Case Study

Preview of the Sanofi Case Study

Sanofi delivers a 260,000-square-foot employee-focused headquarters with Gensler

Sanofi, a pharmaceutical company, faced the challenge of creating a workplace that could attract top talent and reflect its people-first values as it relocated its New Jersey headquarters from a suburban campus to an urban setting. The vendor, Gensler, was engaged to design a new flagship office that would support hybrid work and strengthen employee collaboration and well-being.

Gensler's solution for Sanofi involved designing a 260,000-square-foot space with unassigned desks, collaborative hubs, and a wide range of amenities including a rooftop terrace, wellness suites, and an on-site health clinic. The result is the Sanofi M Station, a new benchmark for employee-focused design that weaves the workplace into the community and supports sustainable commuting. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification and positions Sanofi as a leader in sustainable, community-oriented workplace design.
