Reading’s Regeneration delivers a 275,000-square-foot workplace with Gensler

The customer, a major regeneration project called Reading's Regeneration (ONE Station Hill), faced the challenge of capitalizing on Reading's improved transport links to accelerate long-term economic growth. They needed a high-quality, sustainable workplace to act as a catalyst for this regeneration and attract global businesses. The vendor, Gensler, provided architecture services to address this.

Gensler's solution was to design ONE Station Hill, a 17-storey, all-electric Grade A office tower with premium amenities and integrated public realm. The results were highly successful, with most of the building pre-let to major occupiers. The project generated millions in local infrastructure contributions, created thousands of jobs, and set a new benchmark for workplace development, winning a National BCO Award.
