A Gensler Case Study

Preview of the New York Red Bulls Case Study

New York Red Bulls build an 80-acre training complex with Gensler

The New York Red Bulls, a Major League Soccer team, had outgrown their existing space and required a new facility to unify their professional, academy, and youth programs. They partnered with the architecture and design firm Gensler to address this challenge and create a holistic training complex.

Gensler designed an 80-acre master plan featuring eight soccer pitches and upgraded amenities. The solution integrated indoor and outdoor spaces to promote not only practice and play but also rest, recovery, and education, including nutrition programs. This facility, unlike any other in the U.S., provides the New York Red Bulls with a premier environment for recruiting top talent and scouting youth players, ultimately creating a clear path to professional play for young athletes.
