A Gensler Case Study
Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, a law firm, faced the challenge of relocating its Chicago headquarters after three decades in its previous space. The firm collaborated with the architecture and design firm Gensler to create a new office driven by sustainability and a people-first culture.
Gensler designed a solution spanning three floors in The Bell, a historic landmark. The design integrated climate action strategies, utilizing materials that adhere to Gensler's Product Sustainability (GPS) Standards to reduce the carbon footprint. The result was Chicago’s first net zero, carbon neutral law firm office, which also achieved LEED Platinum certification. Gensler's solution balanced professional needs with collaborative, hospitality-inspired spaces, creating a dynamic and human-centered environment.
