Havas Boston Village, a group of four advertising agencies, faced the challenge of transforming a historic candy factory in Boston's Seaport into a unified and vibrant new workplace. They partnered with the design firm Gensler to create a flexible 50,000-square-foot office that could celebrate the creative talents of their individual agencies while fostering a cohesive culture.

Gensler's solution was to design a "village" layout with distinct office neighborhoods and flexible work settings. The design incorporated authentic, repurposed materials inspired by the building's heritage and included shared spaces like a creative commons, production studio, and a terrace. The result was an inventive and sustainable workplace that supports a full spectrum of work, pays homage to its historic surroundings, and successfully houses the four Havas agencies under one roof.
