A Gensler Case Study
Fish & Richardson, a law firm, faced the challenge of creating a modern, flexible workspace within a uniquely narrow floorplate in a Munich tower. They engaged the architecture and design firm Gensler to transform this space into a forward-looking legal environment that balanced privacy with collaboration and prioritized employee wellbeing.
Gensler's solution involved opening up the ends of the narrow floorplan to create key destinations like cafes and lounges. They introduced a hybrid office model with double-occupancy offices, open-plan areas, and dedicated collaboration zones, complemented by small phone and video rooms for virtual court sessions. The resulting workspace, infused with the firm's brand colors and warm materials, successfully accommodates nearly 40 flexible employees and sets a new standard for supportive legal environments.
