DBS, repeatedly recognized as Asia’s Best Bank, faced the challenge of rebuilding community and supporting employee well-being in the era of hybrid work. Their traditional office social spaces were no longer sufficient, so they engaged the vendor Gensler to create a unifying communal space that would reflect their people-first culture and advance sustainability.

Gensler reimagined the workplace by designing a Social Hub, a modern "family room" inspired by Asian rituals of togetherness. The solution included four immersive zones for nostalgia, rest, and renewal, all featuring reused materials and dedicated wellness nooks. The impact was significant, as the hub became a cultural anchor that drew employees back to the office with a sense of purpose and authentic connection, strengthening DBS's culture across the entire region.
