Case Study: Community Bible Church creates a welcoming, community-focused campus with Gensler

Community Bible Church transforms its central campus with Gensler

Community Bible Church partnered with Gensler to realize its vision of creating an uplifting experience across all its locations and to transform its underutilized central campus. The challenge was to revitalize these spaces into welcoming places that promote spiritual growth and feel like family, while reinforcing its community-focused identity.

Gensler developed design guidelines and executed a dramatic renovation of the central campus. The solution involved relocating the bookstore to a more prominent spot, redesigning the coffee shop to support outreach, and creating a publicly accessible counseling center. The result radiates comfort and a feeling of home, successfully extending the church's mission to provide safe spaces for people from all backgrounds and abilities.
