Baltimore Ravens reimagine M&T Bank Stadium with Gensler in a $430M, multi-phase 2026 transformation

The Baltimore Ravens, in partnership with the Maryland Stadium Authority, faced the challenge of modernizing the aging M&T Bank Stadium to meet evolving fan expectations and transform it into a year-round destination. Their goal was to upgrade infrastructure and elevate the fan experience to match Baltimore's vibrant culture. They engaged the architecture and design firm Gensler to lead this multi-phase transformation.

Gensler's solution was a comprehensive redesign that introduced new premium spaces like the Miller Lite Gatehouse beer hall, created field-level clubs from underutilized areas, and renovated suites and concourses. The design drew inspiration from Baltimore's cultural identity to create flexible, welcoming spaces. As a result, the stadium now offers more diverse and memorable experiences for all fans and is emerging as a cornerstone of Baltimore's entertainment district. The renovations, which continue through 2026, have expanded the stadium's role as a year-round civic destination and strengthened community pride.
