AREA15 expands 80-acre immersive ecosystem with Gensler

Gensler collaborated with AREA15 Entertainment District to address the challenge of expanding its successful immersive entertainment complex into a larger, diversified mixed-use district. The customer sought to build on its initial success by creating a new destination filled with best-in-class art and singular guest experiences to meet the growing audience demand for deeper connection and exploration.

The solution implemented by Gensler was the master planning and design of an 80-acre immersive ecosystem, including a 12-acre expansion called Zone 2: The Terminals. This phase added flexible retail and entertainment storefronts, public plazas, and a repurposed Boeing 747 as an event venue. As a result, AREA15 strengthened its position as a premier destination, creating a vibrant district that is lively around the clock and draws millions of visitors, further solidifying Las Vegas as a center for creativity.
