Speeds up zakat distribution for underprivileged communities with PNMsoft SCE

Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) is a faith-based nonprofit in Selangor, Malaysia that manages public zakat donations to support underprivileged communities across 28 branches with more than 400 full‑time staff and over 2,000 field agents. Facing a largely paper‑based, manual aid‑distribution process that could take weeks and risk public criticism and lost donations, LZS engaged Genpact Cora Orchestration and deployed Sequence CRM Edition (SCE) to modernize its case management and distribution workflows.

Genpact Cora Orchestration implemented an automated BPM solution—building Sequence forms, integrating SCE with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and extending mobile access for field agents—so staff and Amil assistants can process cases faster and follow standardized steps. The vendor’s solution eliminated paper costs, shortened aid distribution from weeks to a much faster turnaround, improved transparency and control through analytics, and helped protect LZS’s reputation to maintain public zakat contributions.
