How Ciox Health redesigned medical information management

Ciox Health, the US market leader in clinical information exchange supporting over 40 million medical-record requests a year from 1,600+ locations, needed to replace disparate, paper-based and manual processes with a secure, centralized digital platform to meet regulatory timeliness and improve accuracy. To achieve that vision Ciox selected Genpact Cora Orchestration and its Cora SeQuence technologies to help design, transform, and run a cloud-based data-management platform called Ciox HealthSource.

Genpact Cora Orchestration consultants assessed operations, standardized and centralized data and processes, embedded robotic process automation, and used Cora SeQuence to build and deploy HealthSource across Ciox’s footprint. In the 12 months since rollout the platform has over 7,000 active users (target 10,000), processes 40 million information requests annually, speeds delivery with greater accuracy and security, enables analytics and life-sciences services, and lets Ciox redeploy staff to higher-value work.
