Genius Sports worked with The Hundred, the ECB’s new domestic cricket tournament, to help make the competition more engaging for younger fans while also building a first-party fan database. The challenge was to create a fun digital experience that would attract new audiences, keep them watching throughout the season, and support future direct-to-fan marketing and commercial partner value.

Genius Sports implemented a 20-Ball Predictor game inside The Hundred’s official mobile app, giving fans a simple daily second-innings prediction challenge that required sign-up and captured valuable fan data. The launch also supported sponsor activation for Cazoo through branding and a prize competition, while Genius Sports provided promotional guidance. The results included a 67% increase in registrations and a 288% increase in predictions at the start of season two, alongside 16 million+ live TV viewers in season one.
