Pringles converts fans with live data social activations

Pringles worked with Genius Sports, together with its agency partners Carat and Presto, to engage football fans after live matches returned during the COVID-19 period. Its challenge was to create highly relevant social creative for UEFA Euro 2021 across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in six countries and six languages, while winning share of voice among sports audiences.

Using Genius Creative and a Genius API integration with Carat, the team built dynamic video ads driven by live sports data such as scores and kick-off countdowns. Pringles and Genius Sports triggered ads around key moments like halftime and goals, localized every variation, and generated more than 1,000 dynamic video ads; the campaign delivered a 3.2% higher VTR on Twitter versus standard activity and an 8% higher VTR with in-flight optimization.
