The federation needed better technology and expertise to modernize its digital ecosystem, create live data for digital league platforms, launch an OTT streaming service, and improve coaching, officiating, and match analysis across all levels.

Genius Sports built a bespoke digital ecosystem for Portuguese Volleyball Federation using e-Scoresheet, DataVolley, GeniusLive cameras, and Competition Management. This enabled official live scores, match reports, fan updates, and live streams for every fixture on a new OTT platform, while also streamlining administration and saving time and money. The results included 100k+ streaming views in year one, a 26% increase in returning fans, and a 33% increase in new website visits.
