PGA Tour invests in integrity education

The PGA Tour worked with Genius Sports to strengthen integrity across its golf competitions, which span more than 130 events a year and involve members in 24 countries. With the risk of betting-related corruption and the need to keep competition transparent, the PGA Tour needed a better way to protect players, caddies, officials, and events.

Genius Sports built a new integrity programme for the PGA Tour that combined 24/7 bet monitoring with a customized e-learning platform for all stakeholders. The monitoring system uses real-time odds data and predictive algorithms to flag suspicious activity, while the education platform makes rules and consequences clear; together, these measures provide round-the-clock surveillance and help maintain fair competition.
