Coca-Cola worked with Genius Sports and EssenceMediacom to stand out in the crowded 2022 FIFA World Cup conversation. Focusing on the MENA region, the brand wanted to stay top of mind with football fans across social media in four languages while driving purchase intent and ad recall before, during, and after matches, using Genius Sports’ FANHub.

Genius Sports built and automated data-driven creative in multiple sizes and formats, using live match triggers such as scores, kick-off countdowns, goals, and half-time moments to serve over 3,000 localized ads through an API integration with Meta. The campaign reached 14 million sports fans in MENA and delivered strong results, including a 10% lift in CTR versus benchmark, a 14.4% increase in brand preference in the UAE, and a 3.5% increase in ad recall in Iraq (South).
