Clippers and Genius combine to power ground-breaking ClipperVision

The LA Clippers partnered with Genius Sports to find new ways to engage fans through innovative live game experiences. Using Genius Sports’ Second Spectrum technology, the team moved beyond traditional broadcasts and developed augmented viewing options that could deliver official tracking data and richer in-game context directly to fans.

Genius Sports helped launch ClipperVision, giving fans access to 70+ games without a pay-TV subscription and six stream options, including CourtVision powered by AWS and CourtVision Mascot Mode powered by AWS. These formats added real-time shot probabilities, team and player statistics, animations, graphics, and special effects, and in its first season ClipperVision won the NBA’s Team Innovation of the Year Award.
