TurBus Chile, one of the country’s largest bus operators with approximately 1,700 buses, needed to capture and instantly analyze millions of daily data points to monitor routes, driver hours and fleet status across passenger, cargo and special services. To address this, TurBus Chile engaged GeneXus (through affiliate EGT) to develop web and mobile applications and a modular control system, powered by GXportal, that could centralize trip data and operational parameters.

EGT used GeneXus to deliver an integrated management and monitoring solution that enables real‑time retrieval, analysis and alerting for route and driving‑hour compliance. The implementation made operations more modern and flexible—many original GeneXus developments still run after a decade—allowing TurBus Chile to handle millions of records daily across its ~1,700‑bus fleet and maintain continuous oversight of its routes and services.
