Case Study: Marfrig achieves 100% plant management, full traceability and streamlined accounting in Uruguay with GeneXus

Traceability and accounting empowered by technology

Marfrig, one of the world’s largest meat processing groups with multiple plants in Uruguay, needed to consolidate production traceability, accounting and payroll after a series of acquisitions and to optimize its technology resources. Working with Soluciones, a GeneXus Solution Partner, Marfrig adopted the GeneXus platform to build the applications required to centralize and standardize operations.

Soluciones developed three GeneXus-generated systems—TrazPRO (production and traceability), CountPRO (accounting) and SalaryPRO (payroll)—and transferred the knowledge bases to Marfrig while training its developers. As a result, GeneXus-based products will manage 100% of Marfrig’s Uruguay plants (with remaining sites coming online within four months), providing consolidated operational control and an in-house development capability.
