Telecom Venezuela needed to modernize its systems to support frequent new services and merchandising methods in the telecom market. To achieve a convergent Customer Care & Billing capability, the company selected GeneXus and its GXVision solution, developed with GeneXus 9.0 as a Java Web application.

GeneXus implemented GXVision to load and consolidate usage from telephony, data transport, Internet access, Pay TV, Digital TV, PPV and VOD into a single convergent billing core (Java Web / MySQL on Linux). The deployment delivered faster implementation of new services, enhanced Customer Care functionality, automated operational processes and consolidated management and strategic data—improving time-to-market and operational control across Telecom Venezuela.
