SLSQ Hub Safety and Technology on Australia’s Beaches with GeneXus

Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ), the volunteer organization responsible for aquatic rescue and beach safety across Queensland, Australia, needed a better way to manage training, awards, certifications, and course enrollment for its diverse membership. Its existing LMS made it difficult for volunteers to find courses, track requirements, and keep records up to date, creating extra work for members and staff.

In collaboration with Cumulus Technologies, GeneXus built the SLSQ Hub using Globant Enterprise AI (formerly GeneXus Enterprise AI), delivering a centralized platform for memberships, patrol shifts, awards, training, and AI-powered policy-based Q&A. The solution was implemented in three months and has already processed more than 25,000 rescue awards, helping streamline volunteer administration and improve training support while strengthening beach safety efforts.
