SEDU a system for Teachers and Educational Institutions

SEDU, a platform incubated by ThalesLab, was created to solve the recurring problem of teacher absences and unstructured vacancy management in educational institutions. To build a flexible, fast-to-update WebApp that handles teacher registration, resumes, availability and institutional needs matching, SEDU was developed using the Angular generator offered by GeneXus.

Using GeneXus’s Angular generator, the team delivered SEDU as a WebApp in one month with a single developer and adapted rapidly—adding online-teaching recruitment in two days when COVID hit. Today SEDU serves more than 4,000 teachers and 16 private institutions, is two years into growth with plans to reach roughly 670 private institutions in Uruguay, and demonstrates measurable gains in speed-to-market and agility enabled by GeneXus.
