Riogas App The company that brings warmth to the Uruguayan people now has a mobile solution

Riogas, a Uruguayan liquefied petroleum gas company serving more than 350,000 homes and thousands of businesses with over 30 sales centers in Montevideo and about 150 outside the capital, needed a way to better connect with customers and streamline orders. GeneXus partner Simplifica developed an Android and iOS mobile application built on the GeneXus platform to enable customers to order cylinder refills and bulk deliveries, find points of sale, and contact Riogas.

The GeneXus-based app lets users place orders from phones and tablets and locate sales and distribution centers, improving accessibility and response times. Less than two months after launch the application reached thousands of downloads on both platforms and has been widely adopted by bulk customers and supermarkets, delivering measurable uptake and faster service for Riogas.
